Inspired by the layered sedimentary formations at Point Dume Beach, this handcrafted ceramic vessel captures the natural beauty of geological time in miniature. Each embedded stone and shell fragment tells a story of ocean waves, shifting sands, and countless seasons of coastal transformation.

The vessel's charcoal-toned clay body serves as a canvas for an array of individually handcrafted clay "rocks"—each one uniquely shaped, textured, and glazed to mimic the diverse sediments found along Malibu's dramatic coastline. Like the ancient dune formations that inspired it, each Little Rock Vase is completely unique, with every small clay rock meticulously formed and placed by hand.

This piece is watertight, making it suitable for holding fresh flowers or standing alone as a sculptural object.
